Record Keeper handles sensitive collection information. The app does not sell personal information, show ads, or use third-party tracking tools.

Information you choose to store
The app can store collection and owner information, serial numbers, acquisition and disposition details, notes, values, photographs, receipts, accessories, and NFA documents. This content is entered or selected by you.
Storage and iCloud
Data is stored on your Apple device. If iCloud is available, Record Keeper uses Apple CloudKit to synchronize it with your private iCloud database across your devices. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and terms.
Permissions
Camera, photo library, document scanner, and file access support features you initiate. Record Keeper does not use those permissions in the background to collect unrelated information.
Sharing and exports
Record Keeper does not transmit collection data to SJR Ventures. If you export, share, or back up information, you choose the destination and are responsible for securing the resulting files. Information you voluntarily include in a support request is used only to respond to that request.
Retention and deletion
You control saved records through the app. Deleting synchronized records removes them from the app and propagates through iCloud. Removing the app alone may not remove information retained in iCloud or in backups you created.
Children
Record Keeper is not directed to children under 13, and SJR Ventures does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes
This notice may be updated as the app changes. The current version will remain available on this page.

How does iCloud sync work?
Keep Record Keeper signed into the same Apple Account on each device with iCloud Drive enabled. Records sync through your private CloudKit database; larger photos and documents may take a little longer.
How should I back up my records?
Use Full Backup to preserve records, photos, documents, and owner details. CSV export is useful for spreadsheet access, but it does not contain photos or attached documents.
Can I move records between devices?
Yes. iCloud sync is the simplest option. You can also create a full backup on one device and restore it on another.
What should I include in a support request?
Describe the device, app version, what you expected, and what happened. Do not send serial numbers, NFA documents, or full backup files unless support specifically asks for them.
